In general, Clear UPVC is a transparent grade of PVC. It is rigid stiff and strong, has good impact strength, low moisture absorption and is inherently flame retardant. As with all PVC, it performs well when exposed to many salt solutions, acids and alkalis.
PVC Sheet can be heat formed, hot gas welded and solvent cemented.
UV resistance of all PVC in general, is considered good; but it will degrade and age in time with prolonged exposure to UV rays which results in white blooming and discolouration. For Clear PVC this may not be desirable as its purpose is to be 'see-through', so for permanent outdoor applications this product is not considered suitable
