These require that a water fitting should not cause waste, misuse, undue consumption or contamination of the water supply and must be ‘of an appropriate quality and standard’.
Thermal Properties
PVC-U shows very good characteristics in the temperature range from 0 to 60 Degrees. At lower temperatures the impact strength drops considerably.
Please note:
Small-diameter pipe up to 2" / 63mm may not be as rigid as larger pipe, particularly when supplied in single full lengths.
Due to the way carriers handle long lengths of pipe, there is an increased risk of transit damage or temporary bowing and waviness. Where practical, we recommend having the pipe cut into shorter lengths, as this can significantly reduce these risks.

Although the thickest wall of all UPVC pipe classes, Class T pipe is designed to have a thread applied to the pipe length, which scores away at the pipe wall. Therefore the operating pressure for class T pipe is 12 Bar.
